Pet Pals pay structure is comprised of: Hourly Wages+ Gratuity (when applicable)

Our team members start averaging around $14 per hour during their first 90 days with the opportunity to quickly move to a $16 per hour average.  Long term employees make between $16-$20 per hour depending on their longevity with the company, tips, and availability to work. 

Beyond a great hourly wage, Pet Pals' teammembers recieve discounts on their own pet care and referral bonsues.  Pet Pals provides bonding and insurance while teamembers are emplyed with Pet Pals.  And teammembers with additional skill sets, such as dog training, may be paid more for for their ability to complete specialty services.  

Beyond great pay, teammembers love the benefit of flexible scheduling. We can work around school, work and family schedules as long as ample notice is given. This is not a job where you can easily call in sick, but, with proper notice most schedules can be worked around.  This gives people the freedom to live the lives they want and partner with us as a way to earn extra cash, as a career, or somewhere in between depending on the needs of their lifestyle.

Pet Pals is passionate about building great teams and paying teammembers well.  At the same time, our industry is not only competative, but one where people come and go too easily.  

It is also expensive to onboard a Pet Care Specialist.  Our Clients expect people of high integrity that they can trust not only with their pets, but with their property.  As such, Pet Pals pays for background checks, bonding, insurance, and more to maintain the integrity of our business and provide the security and quality of care our Clients deserve.

With the high expense to onboard people and transitory nature of the industry, Pet Care Specialists commit to working at least 6 months.  During the first 90 days, Pet Care Specialists average at lesat $14 an hour.  After 90 days, successful Pet Care Specialists are bumped to at least $15 an hour and then $16 an hour after 6 months.
